Nexus holds some of the most personal information there is — what you earn and spend, what you eat, your documents, your household, your children. You should know exactly how the app that holds it makes money, and what it will never do. This page says both, plainly.
Everything in Nexus is free to use. We will not put a feature you already rely on behind a paywall later, and we will not cap something you have been using — no limit on how far ahead your calendar goes, no monthly quota on notes, no charge to scan a barcode. If we ever build something genuinely expensive to run, it will be a new, clearly-labelled extra. It will not be a fence around what you already have.
Nobody pays to be listed in our directory. It is free for the businesses in it and free for you, and right now Nexus is paid for out of its creator's pocket while it grows. As it does, some links to products and services will earn us a small commission — those will always be labelled, and they will never be chosen using anything you have entered into the app. No business can be placed in front of you specifically, because we do not build profiles of you to sell against.
Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to the businesses in our directory. When a business looks at their own listing, they see how many people viewed it and how many enquiries they received. They never see who you are, what else you use Nexus for, or anything you have entered into any module. There is no version of this where your budget, your health log, your vault or your children become someone else's product.
Nexus contains no advertising SDKs and does no behavioural profiling. Not a Meta pixel, not a session recorder, nothing that follows you around the internet, and nothing that decides what you see based on who you are.Three things we do collect, and that is the extent of it.Limited error logs, so we can fix crashes.Page counts and load times, so we can see when the app is busy and keep it fast — enough capacity at the peaks, and an early warning when something starts to slow down. This runs through Vercel, who host the app. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device and builds no profile of you: it records that a page was loaded and how long it took, not who loaded it. On our website the same tool also counts how many people start and finish the ISO readiness tool, so we know whether it is any use.Where you came from, if you arrived through one of our own social posts — a short code saying which one, recorded once when your account is created, so we know which posts are worth writing.None of it is sold, shared with advertisers, or used to decide what you see.
In places where you are already about to do something — looking at a trip you have planned, for instance — we may show a button to a booking or shopping site, and we may earn a commission if you use it. Where we do, it is labelled. These are always optional, never interruptive, and never chosen based on anything personal about you: the button depends on the screen you are on, not on who you are. We will not take a commission on financial products, insurance, or anything where the incentive could distort advice.
You can export everything you have entered — every module, every entry — as a spreadsheet, at any time, from Account → Data & Account. No request form, no waiting period, no paid tier. You can wipe a single module or delete your account outright from the same screen. We would rather you were able to leave and chose to stay.
This page carries a date. If the funding model changes, this page changes first, and you will hear it from us in the app rather than discovering it when something you used yesterday stops working. We have watched enough apps do it the other way around.
